Acceptable-use boundary
Fresh service requests only—never a loophole for cold campaigns.
The founding MVP is intentionally narrow. It does not accept a use case merely because a provider could technically send the message.
Permitted use
One approved source owned or authorized by the client, fresh inbound service requests, source-specific consent where application-generated SMS is used, approved deterministic scripts, narrow qualification, clear human takeover, opt-out suppression, quiet-hour controls, testing, and factual outcome reporting.
Prohibited use
Cold sales texts, purchased or shared lists, scraped numbers, skip tracing, old CRM uploads, lead resale, unrelated marketing under service consent, deceptive sender identity, fabricated opt-in, suppressed-number messaging, autonomous quoting, emergency dispatch, payment-card collection, synthesized outbound voice, call recording, or hiding delivery/provider failures.
Excluded categories
Medical and patient communications; legal intake; finance, lending, insurance advice, debt, and collections; housing qualification; emergency, alarm, crisis, towing, or 911-substitute dispatch; political messaging; cannabis, gambling, adult content, firearms sales, or other restricted messaging; and support outsourcing for angry or vulnerable consumers.
Enforcement
Suspected consent failure, opt-out failure, unsupported category, deceptive claim, abnormal traffic, or security exposure pauses the affected workflow. The operator preserves appropriate evidence, reviews the source and provider state, involves qualified counsel when needed, corrects the cause, and retests before reactivation.
